Egypt plans to pump EGP 725m into Siwa Oasis developmental projects
The Egyptian Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, approved the implementation of several projects to develop Siwa Oasis at an estimated cost of 725 million Egyptian pounds.
This came during his meeting with the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, Mohamed Abdel Atty, according to a statement on Thursday.
Abdel Atty said that he has recently visited several projects in Siwa Oasis, including Al Kaf reservoir, which has a capacity of 12,000 square metres for the irrigation of 500 feddans, and Khanees deep well.
