Egypt’s stock market indices end mostly higher, EGX 30 falls 0.27% on Monday
Egypt’s stock exchange’s (EGX) indexes closed mostly higher on Monday, however, the benchmark EGX 30 index has tumbled 0.27 percent lower to 10,995 points.
The EGX 70 EWI index of the leading smaller and mid cap enterprises (SME) rose 0.56 percent to 2,131 points, while the fixed-weighted index, EGX 30 Capped fell 0.34 percent to 13,172 points. The all-embracing index, EGX 100 grew 0.43 percent to 3,088 points. Meanwhile, the equal weights index, EGX 50 went up 0.33 percent up to 2,247 points.
Market Cap
Total market capitalisation has posted gains worth 4.3 billion Egyptian pounds ($273.6 million) to close at 651.514 billion pounds on Monday.
Trading Aggregates
Also on Monday, the trading value has approximately reached 2.8 billion pounds, while the trading volume has almost recorded 720.5 million securities executed 55,049 transactions.
