Egypt has sent on Monday a planeload of medical supplies and medicines to Jordan to help it deal with its ongoing coronavirus crisis.
The shipment was sent in collaboration with the health ministry on a military transport plane as per the directives of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to assist Arab countries during the pandemic crisis, the spokesman of the Egyptian Armed Forces announced in a Facebook post.
“The aid comes in light of Arab national ties and Egypt’s firm stance alongside its Arab brothers, solidarity and full cooperation with them in the face of adversity and crises,” the Armed Forces spokesperson said in the statement.
