The Egyptian Insurance Brokers Association (EIBA) will participate in the general assembly of the Mediterranean Federation of Insurance Brokers to be held on November 9th so as to acquire international experience, said Adel Shaker, chairman of EIBA.
The meeting of the general assembly will be held in Florence in Italy. The meeting will be attended by members from Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Monaco, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Lebanon and Egypt as well as delegate from Lloyd’s market in South Europe and East Africa.
The meeting’s agenda includes discussing the developments witnessed by the international insurance brokerage market and the extent to which the member countries were affected by the political transitions, in addition to reviewing the members’ suggestions to solve the current obstacles facing the sector. The Federation will also discuss the possible methods for providing technical support for the member emerging countries.
The member European insurance brokerage companies sent an open invitation to insurance brokerage to send EIBA’s members to be trained there in order to develop the insurance brokerage market in Egypt.
It is worth mentioning that EIBA has been a member at the Mediterranean Federation of Insurance Brokers since 2005.
