Asian markets briefing 13/04/2023

The Asian markets witnessed a drop on Thursday in the Chinese main index, SSEC, by -0.27 percent. The index closed at 3,318.36 and lost 8.82 points. It recorded a day high value of 3,334.47 and a day low value of 3,309.25.

The Japanese main index, Nikkei 225, climbed by 0.26 percent, gaining 74.27 points. It closed at 28,156.97, recording a day high value of 28,163.87 and a day low value of 27,952.01.

Hong Kong’s main index, HSI, rose by 0.17 percent to 20,344.48 after it gained 34.62 points. The index recorded a day high value of 20,344.48 and a day low value of 19,885.53.
