Asian markets briefing 14/04/2023

The Asian stock markets closed high on Friday with the Chinese main index, SSEC, rising by 0.6 percent to 3,338.15. The index gained 19.79 points, recording a day high value of 3,340.08 and a day low value of 3,316.81.

Japan’s main index, Nikkei 225, climbed by 1.20 percent to 28,493.47, gaining 336.50 points. It recorded a day high value of 28,515.51 and a day low value of 28,282.82.

HSI, Hong Kong’s main index, inched up by 0.46 percent and gained 94.33 points. The index closed at 20,438.81, recording a day high value of 20,482.68 and a day low value of 20,297.16.
