HC Securities & Investment is considering the inception of shariah-complaint mutual funds within the coming period due to the growing demand on those types of funds.
Walaa Hazem, vice president for asset management at HC Securities & Investment, said the firms is studying a number of investment plans including the launch of shariah-complaint funds within the coming years.
Hazem further noted that HC is also studying the launch of new investment funds seeking to push the Egyptian market forward but it awaits until the country witness some political breakthrough.
“The market is always in need for making fresh investments alongside more mutual funds which would make a remarkable addition to the national economy.” Hazem added
