Egypt’s e-Finance profits jump 76.4% in 6 months

The Egyptian payments firm e-Finance has reported a 76.4 percent year-on-year (YoY) increase in profits during the first half of this year, according to its financial statements sent to EGX on Monday.

The company achieved a net profit of 390.22 million Egyptian pounds from January to the end of June 2023, compared to 221.21 million pounds in the comparative period in 2022, the report showed.

The report further added that the firm achieved a net profit of 285.47 million pounds from January to the end of March 2023, up from 198.29 million pounds in the same period in the previous year.
