Israel detains Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh

The Israeli occupation police arrested Palestinian singer Dalal Abu Amneh on Tuesday on allegations of “incitement” on social media.

Lawyer Abeer Bakr announced that the singer was arrested for posting on social media “Allah is the only predominant.”

Abu Amneh’s post was seen as a threat by the Israeli settlers who then issued threats against her.

The singer filled a complaint to the police against the threats that she has been receiving, to which the response was to detain Abu Amneh.

The Israeli forces have been carrying out extensive arrests and raids to Palestinians in the illegally occupied West Bank.

Abu Amneh is a research doctor in brain sciences and neurophysiology, as well as a singer and a producer.
