Egypt, Switzerland To Sign Framework Agreement on Sunday

Egyptian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation will sign on Sunday the framework agreement on technical, financial and humanitarian cooperation between Egypt and Syria, in the presence of Dominik Furgler, the Swiss ambassador to Cairo, with a high-ranking delegation.

It is worth noting that Switzerland decided to postpone the procedures of transferring 700 million Swiss Franc ($ 767 million) of the former regime to Egypt. This delay came due to the unclear political vision in Egypt.

The Egyptian authorities had asked the judicial help to restore the frozen accounts of the ousted president, Hosni Mubarak, and his family in the Swiss banks.
