Israel’s parliament approved adding 25.9 billion shekels ($7 billion) to the national budget for supplementary wartime on Thursday.
This will help cover costs of the attacks on Gaza.
According to a Knesset spokesperson, the amendment was ratified by a vote of 59 lawmakers in favour and 45 in opposition.
This will increase the 2023 budget to 510 billion shekels ($139 billion).
Israel passed the original 2023 budget along with a 2024 budget in May.
The state has been losing billion due to its bombardment of Gaza and the Houthi attacks on their ships.
