Crédit Agricole Egypt’s assets surged EGP 2.441 billion (9.5%) to reach EGP 28.081 billion at the end of last December, compared to EGP 25.64 billion at the end of 2011.
The standalone financial statements showed that the bank’s investments in T-bills rose EGP 967.05 million (28.3%) to reach EGP 4.383 billion at the end of 2012, compared to EGP 3.416 billion at the end of 2011.
The bank’s portfolio of loans and credit facilities registered EGP 12.787 billion at the end of 2012, compared to EGP 11.348 billion at the end of 2011, registering an increase of EGP 1.438 billion (12.7%).
The bank’s deposit portfolio reached EGP 22.76 billion at the end of last year, compared to EGP 20.306 billion at the end of 2011, registering an increase of EGP 2.455 billion (12.2%).
