Thailand will accelerate a pilot project aimed at fostering clean energy trading to bolster foreign investment, Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin announced on Tuesday via the social media platform X.
The pilot project aims to reach a capacity of 2,000 megawatts, with Thavisin noting that the Board of Investment and energy agencies are currently devising suitable criteria. Trading under this initiative is anticipated to commence within the year.
