Egypt banks: Free accounts starting Sep. 1st

Egypt’s banks are preparing to provide free bank accounts with no minimum balance requirement from September 1 to 15 as part of initiatives aimed at promoting financial inclusion.

This initiative coincides with the Egypt Farmers’ Day celebration and marks the fourth financial inclusion activity of 2024.
