Islamic Development Bank Looks To Buy 7-Year Egyptian Sukuk: Osama Saleh

The Egyptian Minister of Investment Osama Saleh has met with the Islamic Development Bank’s officials during his visit to Turkey. The officials stated that the bank will buy the first sukuk issued by Egypt for seven years, as part of the bank’s plan to diversify its investments.

Saleh held a number of bilateral meetings with many public officials and representatives of Turkish private companies. The Minister visited Turkey in order to participate in the 8th Turkish-Arab Economic Forum. He discussed the possibility of attracting new Turkish investments to Egypt.
