Saudi company to invest in Egyptian armored door manufacturing

Egypt and Saudi Arabia are exploring a new industrial partnership. Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Industrial Development, Kamel Al Wazir met on Sunday with and Abdel Halim Mohamed, director of Saudi Iron Technology Company, to discuss plans for a new plant in Egypt that would manufacture armored and metal fire-resistant doors.

Al Wazir reaffirmed the Egyptian government’s commitment to supporting the Saudi company and has instructed relevant authorities to expedite the process of obtaining industrial licences. This will facilitate the establishment and operation of the new manufacturing facility in Egypt.
