EGX Remains Bullish: Wednesday Midday

EGX went on earning profits reached L.E 3.6 billion during Wednesday’s midday trading, as the capital market reached L.E 375.048 billion.

The main index, EGX30 surged 1.41% to reach 5150.89 p. EGX20 increased 1.73% to reach 6029.87 p. Meanwhile, the mid- and small-cap index, the EGX70 raised 1.46% to reach 486.60 p. Price index EGX100 hiked 1.13% to close at 830.63 p.

The market has recorded values of L.E 176.158 million; while the volume traded reached 49.804 million securities executed over 11.870 thousand transactions. This was after trading in 153 listed securities; 10 down and 133 up while 10 keeping their previous levels.

Egyptians were net buyers seizing 82.84% of the total market, with a net equity of L.E 19.731 million, after excluding deals.

Foreign and Arab investors were net sellers, with a net equity of L.E 18.4 million and L.E 1.4 million respectively, after excluding deals.
