China unveiled a plan to develop a modern commercial circulation system that connects domestic and global markets, urban and rural areas, and streamlines production and sales for efficient operations.
The plan, set to finish by 2027, was released by nine state agencies, including the Ministry of Commerce. To meet the deadline, the country will enhance its logistics and distribution networks, reach even the most remote areas, and speed up the development of new business models like livestream e-commerce.
The plan aims to develop digital supply chain service platforms and support competitive enterprises in the circulation sector. It includes initiatives to provide tax and financial support and pilot programmes to establish a modern commercial circulation system.
