Egypt’s CBE auctions EGP 3.5b FRN T-bonds

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Monday that it will issue new treasury bills (T-bills) worth 3.5 billion Egyptian pounds with two maturities between January 2028 and January 2030.

The first issue amounts to two billion Egyptian pounds for a period of three years with a quarterly return, while the second issue totals EGP 1500 million for a period of five years with a quarterly return, the bank said.
