Egypt offers to support Morocco’s ’30 World Cup infrastructure

Egypt’s Minister of Industry and Transport Kamel El-Wazir emphasised that Egyptian firms, experienced in mega-projects in Egypt and Africa, are ready to assist with infrastructure and sports facilities for the 2030 FIFA World Cup in Morocco, as per a Cabinet statement.

He further highlighted Egypt’s comprehensive plan to advance its industrial sector, aiming to transform the country into a regional industrial hub under President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi’s directives, the statement added.

El-Wazir underscored Egypt’s eagerness to cooperate with global partners, especially Arab nations, identifying promising opportunities for industrial collaboration that could boost trade and access to African and international markets.
