Egypt, France discuss future economic cooperation

Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development, and International Cooperation Rania Al Mashat held a meeting with French Ambassador to Egypt Eric Chevalier to discuss the future of Egyptian-French economic relations.

The talks focused on recent financing agreements for development projects and partnership priorities in the coming period, as per a Cabinet statement.

Al Mashat highlighted the strong ties between Egypt and France, emphasising the progress made in implementing key development projects across priority sectors.

She also noted the role of the French Development Agency (AFD) in fostering economic growth and supporting Egypt’s development initiatives.
