Kenya’s GDP growth slows in ’24

Kenya’s economy expanded by 5.1 per cent year-on-year (YoY) in the fourth quarter of 2024, down from 6.1 per cent in the same period a year earlier, according to the country’s statistics office.

For the full year, economic growth stood at 4.7 per cent in 2024 as a whole, compared to 5.7 per cent in 2023, the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics reported.
