Aramco signs 34 deals with US firms

Saudi Aramco has signed 34 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) and agreements with major US companies through its subsidiaries, with a potential value of approximately $90 billion, as part of its long-term growth and diversification strategy.

The agreements span a wide range of sectors, including LNG, petrochemicals, emission-reduction technologies, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced manufacturing, and materials procurement. The collaborations aim to boost innovation, expand Aramco’s global footprint, and strengthen its long-standing ties with the US private sector.

Key upstream deals include LNG-related pacts with Sempra Infrastructure, Woodside Energy, and NextDecade. In downstream, Aramco partnered with ExxonMobil, Honeywell UOP, Afton Chemical, and Motiva to expand refining and petrochemical capacities. Technology collaborations were also announced with Amazon Web Services, NVIDIA, and Qualcomm, focusing on AI, digital transformation, and industrial automation.

Technical service and procurement MoUs were inked with companies such as SLB, Halliburton, Baker Hughes, and Honeywell. Financial agreements involved partnerships with PIMCO, State Street, and BlackRock through Aramco’s asset management arm, Wisayah.
