EGP moves up against US dollar at Wednesday’s close

The Egyptian pound edged up slightly against the US dollar on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, according to figures released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE quoted an average buying rate of EGP 49.4431 to the dollar and a selling rate of EGP 49.5431, compared to Tuesday’s rates of EGP 49.4714 and EGP 49.5694, respectively.
