Egyptian pound rebounds at June 16 close – CBE

The Egyptian pound appreciated against the US dollar on Monday, June 16, 2025, according to figures released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE quoted an average buying rate of EGP 50.2322 to the dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.3192, compared to Sunday’s rates of EGP 50.5694 and EGP 50.6694, respectively.
