The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed in green notes on Thursday.
- The main index, EGX30 went up 0.52 per cent, to 33,324.38 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 gained 0.24 per cent to 3,492.05 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose 0.40 per cent, to 10,131.02 points.
- The index EGX100 added 0.36 per cent, to 13,703.38 points.
The total market capitalisation reached 2,365,456,773,649 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers with a total of 340,324,563 Egyptian pounds and 5,075,892,692 Egyptian pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were sellers with 5,416,217,256 Egyptian pounds.
Top Risers
- Shares of General Company for Land Reclamation,Development and Reconstruction soared 15.19 per cent to 83.060 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Wadi Kom Ombo Land Reclamation climbed 10.94 per cent to close at 154.260 per cent a share.
- Shares of Digitize for Investment And Technology jumped 10.12 per cent, closing at 5.550 Egyptian pounds.

- Shares of Certificates of Odin Egyptian Equity Investment Fund-KASAB sank 7.71 per cent to 5.030 Egyptian pounds at closing.
- Shares of Alexandria Pharmaceuticals dived 5.53 per cent to close at 485.810 Egyptian pounds a share.
- Shares of Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates lost 5.51 per cent closing at 13.550 Egyptian pounds a share.
