Egyptian pound inches higher vs. USD at Monday’s close
The Egyptian pound (EGP) strengthened slightly against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, September 1, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP48.5447 and the selling rate at EGP48.6447, compared with Sunday’s rates of EGP 48.5353 for buying and EGP 48.6644 for selling.
