CFI, AUC to launch new food safety programme to train Egypt’s industrial workforce

Egypt’s Chamber of Food Industries (CFI) and the School of Continuing Education at the American University in Cairo (AUC) signed a cooperation protocol on Thursday to launch a specialised certificate in food safety and regulatory frameworks.

The agreement, signed on the sidelines of the fourth annual Egypt’s Food Conference, aims to enhance skills and qualifications of professionals in the food industry, strengthen compliance with national and international food safety standards, and support the development of a highly trained workforce in the sector.
