Gold prices in Egypt rose on Wednesday, aligning with movements in international bullion markets, according to official pricing data.
By 15:40 p.m. Cairo time (13:40 GMT), 24-carat gold was trading at 7,543 Egyptian pounds per gram, up 137.50 pounds, or 1.86 per cent, from 7,405.5 pounds on Tuesday, 17 Feb.
Other gold grades posted similar gains.
