Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mostly in the green area on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30 went down by 0.03 per cent to 51,962.39 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33 advanced by 0.61 per cent, to 5,514.55 points.
- The EGX35-LV index surged by 1.28 per cent to 5,681.06 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70 rose by 0.57 per cent to 13,717.42 points.
- The EGX100 index gained 0.81 per cent to 19,212.17 points.
The total market cap reached 3,603,697,317,985 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with 1,089,006,816 pounds and 4,100,798,115 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 5,189,804,931 pounds.

- The shares of Sues Canal Company For Technology Settling went up by 20.00 per cent to 690.850 pounds a share.
- The shares of Delta For Printing & Packaging climbed by 13.52 per cent to 135.000 pounds a share.
- The shares of Rubex International for Plastic and Acrylic Manufacturing rose by 9.57 per cent to 10.300 pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of South Valley Cement dropped by 4.83 per cent to 7.290 pounds a share.
- The shares of El Ahram Co. For Printing And Packing sank by 4.38 per cent to 13.090 pounds a share.
- The shares of Suez Canal Bank S.A.E went down by 3.59 per cent to 33.570 pounds a share.
