Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Tuesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, went down by 0.50 per cent to 52,047.15 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.38 per cent to 5,810.2 points.
- The index EGX35-LV climbed by 0.26 per cent to 6,081.27 points.
- The SMEs index, EGX70, rose by 0.23 per cent, to 15,483.27 points.
- The EGX100 index leaped by 0.15 per cent, to 21,262.68 points.
The total market cap reached 3,720,811,308,310 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with a total of 2,136,062,771 Egyptian pounds and 53,309,994,382 pounds, respectively. On the other hand, Egyptians were net sellers with 55,446,057,152 pounds.
Top gainers
- The shares of Tycoon Holding Company For Financial Investments went up by 20.00 per cent to 34.500 pounds a share.
- The shares of Extracted Oils rose by 20.00 per cent to close at 11.280 pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. For Securities&Bonds Brok. EAC jumped by 19.97 per cent, closing at 7.330 pounds.
Top losers
- The shares of Subscription Rights Of Aspire Cap Hold for Financ Invest-3 dropped by 10.20 per cent to 0.088 pounds at closing.
- The shares of Arabia Investments Holding fell by 7.68 per cent to close at 0.469 pounds a share.
- The shares of Misr Beni Suef Cement sank by 7.22 per cent, closing at 251.920 pounds a share.
