Egypt’s stock market (EGX) closed in the green area on Wednesday.
- The benchmark index, EGX30, jumped by 1.10 per cent to 52,621.84 points.
- The Shariah index, EGX33, soared by 0.56 per cent, to 5,842.71 points.
- The EGX35-LV index advanced by 0.16 per cent to 6,090.79 points
- The SMEs index, EGX70, leaped by 0.39 per cent to 15,543.54 points.
- The EGX100 index went up by 0.43 per cent to 21,354.78 points.
The total market cap reached 3,741,243,269,380 Egyptian pounds.
Arabs and non-Arab foreigners were net buyers, with 5,248,680,434 Egyptian pounds and 140,118,241,524 pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Egyptians were net sellers with a total of 145,366,921,958 pounds.

- The shares of Tycoon Holding Company For Financial Investments went up by 20.00 per cent to 41.400 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Rowad Tourism (Al Rowad) climbed by 19.98 per cent to 42.640 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Egyptian Arabian(Themar)Comp. For Securities&Bonds Brok. EAC rose by 15.96 per cent to 8.500 Egyptian pounds a share.
Top losers
- The shares of Egyptians Real Estate Fund Certificates dropped by 5.62 per cent to 13.940 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of El Shams Housing & Urbanization sank by 4.39 per cent to 13.060 Egyptian pounds a share.
- The shares of Arab Valves Company went down by 4.17 per cent to 10.800 Egyptian pounds a share.
