The total domestic liquidity of the banking sector registered EGP1.348 trillion at the end of October 2013, compared to EGP1.334 trillion at the end of September 2012, move up by EGP13.5 billion.
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has mentioned in its latest reports that raising the liquidity reflected in the growth of money supply with EGP3.3 billion with 0.8% growth rate in September.
CBE said boosting the domestic liquidity is due to the increasing which witnessed by net domestic assets registering EGP1.226 trillion at the end of October against EGP1.210 trillion at the end of September, in the time in which the foreign net assets reduced by EGP 2.5 billion recording EGP121.9 billion in October.
