The Egyptian Arab Land Bank’s overseas branches in Jordan and Palestine reported H1 profits amounting to 25 million Egyptian pounds.
EALB exists in three regional countries, in Egypt, the head office, and 12 branches in Jordan besides one Resident office and in addition to 6 offices in Palestine.
According to a banking source from EALB, the bank posted profits worth EGP 22 million in Jordan; while in Palestine, it attained around EGP 3 million in profits. The source described EALB’s first half profits as ‘all-time record scores’ in the bank’s history.
EALB is targeting profits from its overseas branches ranging between EGP 80-100 million by the end of the current year, the source added.
On Israeli ongoing attacks against Gaza, the source asserted that EALB has sole office in Gaza and still operates normally.
