Presso Jumia Egypt-Rocket Internet GmbH is planning investing around US$2million within the last quarter of this year.
The fresh investments which will be pumped will focus on marketing Jumia ‘s trade mark in order to allure new categories of customers and develop one-stop-shope-commerce website that delivers their needs to their homes, Jumia seeks boosting the number of vehicles for transporting products with 100% for up to 60 cars instead of 30, said Tamer El Fiki Marketing Manager.
During the conference which has held on Monday, El Fiki explained that Jumia depends on Aramex, Mashaweer and FedEx firms to transporting products.
He added that the fresh investments will increase the visitors of Jumia.com by 400% , the company is aiming doubling the investments three-fold.
