In Egypt, Smart phones penetration likely to hit 60% at H1-2015

Smart phones penetration in Egyptian market is expected to increase by 60% at the end of first half of 2015, Tamer AL Gamal – Head of HHP division and IM in Samsung Electronics Egypt- said on Thursday.

Al Gamal added that smart phones penetration in Egypt reached 45 % and the end of 2014 clarifying that the market witnesses changes in users’ types.

In addition, at the end of 2014, the number of internet users in Egypt recorded around 48 million, including 20% using internet via mobile phones.
