Cisco Systems’ Egyptian arm will participate in Egypt’s March Economic Summit triggered by the parent company’s support, general manager Ayman Elgohary announced on Wednesday.
He clarified that Cisco Egypt would hold workshops during the summit, with the aim of developing infrastructure solutions and offering new techniques.
During the summit, Cisco Egypt intends, in cooperation with national firms, to showcase a range of innovative technology solutions for the projects to be presented in the event by the Egyptian government.
The official stressed the pivotal role played by the information technology in developing the infrastructure of various projects planned to be offered by the Egyptian government in the upcoming period. He described IT as the base core of any projects.
Elgohary noted that successful projects should depend on technical and technological powers in order to achieve their objectives, such powers are the major catalyst for creating opportunities to face any potential problems facing those projects.
Moreover, he added that the economic summit is a great chance for foreign firms to pump more investments into Egyptian market as well as opening the gate wide-open for foreign investors. The summit shall convey a message to the whole world about Egypt’s economic position.
