Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail is to inaugurate the 3rd Annual PPP Investment Summit Egypt that will take place on Monday 19-20 Octoberat Four Seasons Hotel Nile Plaza.
The two-day summit will be inaugurated with the participation of ministers of finance, investment, planning, supply, transport, international cooperation, industry and trade, and communications in addition to the chairman of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamesh.
A large number of heads and representatives of large international firms that wells to invest in the Egyptian market as well as delegations of the World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), African Development Bank (AFDB), International Finance Corporation (IFC), European Investment Bank (EIB), Alex Bank, Housing & Development Bank (HDB) and QNB Alahli will participate in the summit.
The summit will allow the region’s most senior government officials, renowned bankers, and established service providers to connect in order to bring hundreds of thousands of jobs and billions of dollars of revenue to Egypt.
Director PPP Central Unit at finance ministry Atter Hannoura stated that the summit will witness a bunch of investment projects set to be issued using the PPP system within the current fiscal year and FY 2011-6-17.
The number of set-to-be-issued projects is ranging between 19-20 projects with investment cost exceeding US$4 billion divided on several sector: information technology, transport, industry, power, sport and infrastructure.
Hannoura clarified that the summit is a good chance to showcase all developments that the Egyptian market witnesses besides exchanging PPP expertise in Egypt and other states.
