World Bank set to loan $500mn for developing Upper Egypt: Minister

The World Bank Group will fund a new cooperation project worth US$500 million for the development of the Upper Egypt region, said minister of international cooperation Sahar Nasr.

The project will also include the World Bank’s support for Egypt’s state budget, Nasr added.
