The National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the country’s biggest state-run bank, is considering pumping 5.9 billion Egyptian pounds (US$753.3 million) in favour of 48 clients of medium-sized enterprises segment.
Sherif Riad – MID Corporate Banking Head at NBE – said his bank had approved grants worth 900 million pounds for 10 clients working in sectors of tourism, leasing, industry, food, and real estate.
