Egypt and Germany have signed Saturday two cooperation agreements worth more than €35 million ($39.1 million).
The two countries signed a technical support agreement at value of €25.38 million for a number of developmental projects in Egypt. The second agreement is at value of €10 million to finance the second phase of a programme to support the quality of education by building and renovating schools in Egypt.
The two agreements have been signed by Egyptian Minister of International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and Julius Georg Luy – German ambassador to Cairo.
“The two agreements aim to finance a number of vital projects dedicated to serve citizens on national levels; they are in fields of renewable energy, irrigation, sanitation, as well as waste management systems.” Minister Nasr said.
