Asmarat Heights to deliver 6200 units to home slum dwellers soon

Egypt will deliver the first phase of Asmarat project dedicated for risky slums’ residents soon, Deputy Minister of Housing Ahmed Adel Darwish said Wednesday.

With investments worth 800 million Egyptian pounds (US$ 90 million) the first phase is built on 65 feddans including 6200 housing units i.e 173 buildings.

Furthmore, The whole project is constructed on 123 feddans to encompass 12.000 housing units; each unit is of an area of 65 square metre so as to upgrade the risky slums in Egypt.

In addition, the project will provide services by establishing schools compound, nursery, mosque, mall, medical centers, sports facility, stadiums, police stations, and markets.
