Egypt receives first tranche of Saudi 2.5 bln loan: minister

Egypt has received the first tranche worth $500 million of Saudi Arabia’s $2.5 billion grant, international cooperation minister said on Sunday.

Sahar Nasr also said that the Saudi financing aims at supporting Egypt’s budget.
