The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) plans to launch seven new branches, increasing its network of branches to 266 branches spread across all governorates in Egypt.
The branch, which was destined to be open by the next two months at Egypt’s railway station, will be soon launched, said Hazem Hegazy, head of branches and retail banking at NBE.
In addition, NBE targets to increase the number of ATMs to 1250.
NBE’s branches are open in regular working hours, Hegazy added, noting that the Bank has a plan to secure its 259 branches against possible riots or violent actions.
