The number of South Korean firms operating in Egypt has reached 107, with capitalisations worth $64.3 million, head of Egyptian investment authority said Tuesday.
Mohamed Khodair, Chairman of the General Egyptian Authority for Investments (GAFI), further said South Korea ranked 46 among the states investing in Egypt.
The South Korean firms operating in Egypt are in industrial and services sectors, and contributed to the creation of more than 2200 job opportunities, Khodair added.
