EGAS delivers natural gas to 2.1m homes in Cairo end-July: oil ministry

The rates of delivering natural gas to homes in Cairo governorate reached 2.146 million by the end of 2017, i.e. the beginning of financial year 2015-16.

A recent report released by Egyptian Oil Ministry showed Thursday that Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company (EGAS) made internal installations for 2.212 million homes approximately until July 2017.

It also stated that the number of housing units to which natural gas was delivered is estimated at 7.6 million in 26 governorate until now.

On other Side, EGAS plans to deliver natural gas to 193,592 homes in Cairo governorate from May 2016 until June 2018.
