Egypt attracted around 56 million Egyptian pounds ($3.1 million) in foreign investment in local stock market in a week, according to the weekly report released by the bourse.
Local investors were net sellers capturing 71.11 percent of the total market in a week.
Meanwhile, non-Arab foreign and Arab investors were net buyers controlling 22.61 percent and 6.27 percent respectively of the total markets, with a net equity of 56.03 million pounds and 29.55 million pounds, respectively, excluding the deals.
