Dubai-based courier Aramex has established a new head office in Egypt’s Alexandria city.
The new office is part of Aramex’s strategy to expand its presence and double its investments in Egypt, to meet customers’ increasing demand for innovative products and services.
“At Aramex Egypt, we are proud of our contributions to the local economic development, and creating job opportunities to over 1,900 people, in over 32 branches across the country.” Samer Mansour, general manager of Aramex Egypt, said.
The office was inaugurated in the presence of Hussein Hachem, chief executive of Aramex, Samer Gharaibeh, chief executive of Aramex in Africa; and Samer Mansour. The ceremony was attended by a group of Aramex Egypt’s VIP customers, as well as professionals from the logistics and transportation industry.
“Opening our new headquarters in Alexandria reflects our keenness to expand in the Egyptian market and to upgrade our services to be in line with our leading domestic and international position, in a bid to meet the growing needs of customers on the back of the economic reforms and expected increase in investment flows of major international financial institutions in Egypt over the next few years.” Gharaibeh said.
