Trade exchange between Egypt and France reached around $1.459 billion at the end of last August, said Egyptian Minister of Industry and Trade Amr Nassar on Saturday.
“The $1.459 billion includes $460 million worth of Egyptian exports and $999 million of imports,” Nassr further added.
France’s investments in Egypt registered €4.5 billion, represented in 473 projects of various sectors, the minister made these remarks in a meeting with French ambassador to Cairo.
These sectors are agricultural industry, information technology, construction and building, new and renewable energy, transportation, banking, insurance, aviation, drinking water purification, tourism, and infrastructure, Nassar said.
