Banks provide credit facilities of 1.6 tln by the end of October
The credit facilities provided by the banks in Egypt have increased by 25.3 billion Egyptian pounds to record 1.63 trillion pounds by the end of October, compared to 1.657 trillion a year earlier.
The total credit facilities to the government have recorded 469.8 billion Egyptian pounds of which 212 billion pounds in the local currency and 257 billion pounds in foreign currency according to the Central Bank of Egypt.
On the other hand, the credit facilities directed to non-governmental entities 1.213 trillion pounds of which 869.6 billion pounds in the local currency and 316.6 billion pounds in foreign currency.
